The Marker Kingpin 13 Ski Bindings are the ultimate choice for downhill-oriented performance pin bindings. The Marker Kingpin is a wonderful option for someone who is looking to split their time between the backcountry and resort. The Kingpin is fully ISO/DIN certified binding and similar to the Salomon/Atomic Shift, but roughly 100 grams lighter. Similar to the Shift binding, the Kingpin wouldn't be the best option for someone strictly looking to tour.
Ideal for
- Its a half tech/half alpine binding
- Fully DIN/ISO certified
- Excellent downhill energy transfer
Not ideal for
- Not a true tech binding, hence pretty heavy compared to other true tech bindings

I kind of had an idea about what i was looking for, but Tristan helped me really get dialed in with the perfect gear.
