The Curated Take
The Gremlin is an anomaly of a board that would leave the Ringling brothers in awe. This technically "freeride" snowboard features a directional volume-shifted shape, C3 camber (camber/rocker/camber)profile, 7.5/10 flex, and magne traction edges. This is truly a unique one-board quiver. It can turn on a dime, pop fat, float pow, remain stable at speed, and even ride switch to a degree. I wouldn't take this sucker off-piste in Switch but it does alright considering the shape and size. This board does have a larger nose than the tail resulting in a solid float in fresh yogurt. This board really excels at dampening chop and chunder, carving tight or drawn out, and staying stable at high speed. The volume-shifted shape makes this board a weapon riding through shoots and treelines. I wouldn't recommend this board for park riding but it rides shockingly well on rails/boxes and is super stable hitting small to large jumps. Considering the stiffness and magne traction, this board will humble you if you get lazy on it, but is by no means a plank. I recommend this board for advanced and aggressive riders who like to go out and get weird on the slopes. If you are looking for a unique ride, this is definately the on for you.
