*Warning - poor durability*
Originally posted at bataleon.com on Mar 25, 2024I rode my brand new board twice on groomed green/blue runs and noticed a knick on the tail end and parts of the topsheet peeling off. I didn't have any collisions or hit my board on any hard objects. I submitted a warranty claim and they said it wouldn't be covered. I read some Reddit threads where several people had similar issues with the Bataleon board durability. I had used a Salomon board for 2 years and it had 0 damage. It's ridiculous that this board was so easily damaged after two days of gentle riding.
On the plus side, it does have good edge control and is easy to maneuver. However, you can probably find another camber board that holds up better. I expected more from this board and brand.
