The Dynastar M-free 99 nails what I look for in an all-mountain ski. It's perfect for that high intermediate, advanced, and expert skier that wants a ski that has no limits inbounds. It has a great personality that's surfy, poppy, and playful, while still having plenty of power to charge down a steep, tackle technical trees, and attack the moguls. It's been really fun in the park as well for freestyle skiing. The tips and tails have a nice springy flexibility to them and the PU dampener soaks up big landings comfortably. It wouldn't be my top pick for laying down crisp carving turns but it handles a groomer with plenty of enthusiasm.
- Versatile to a variety of styles, terrain, and snow conditions
- Has great float in powder for a 99mm underfoot ski
- Is really durable, have yet to encounter an issue
- Isn't designed to stick exclusively to groomers
- Isn't a top choice for carving
- Feels a little heavier than some other models in its class

What was your favorite moment with this gear?
I am most happy on the mountain when I am working my way through the trees in 3-4" of reasonably fresh snow and the Dynastar M-Free 99 gives me exactly what I need for that. It's stable and damp but also energetic and responsive with just enough play in the tip and tail that I feel like I'm doing some of my best skiing when I take them out in the trees. What is the value for the money versus other options?
The Dynastar M-Free 99's value lies in it's versatility. There's really nothing on the resort that you could possibly find that the M-free wouldn't be able to handily tackle. If you're looking for a quiver killing, jack of all trades that will give you a good experience no matter the day, this just might be it.What do you love about this product?
The Dynastar M-Free 99 has polyurethane in the core which gives it a really noticeable springiness that I really enjoyed playing with. It gave a nice responsiveness to the ski which otherwise feels pretty damp.43% of customers also bought Ski Bindings
