Ideal for
- This is a very simple ski to turn with ease from edge to edge, it is very approachable
- The M-free 99 is one of the more versatile skis on the market with good rocker tip and tail for soft snow performance
- If looking for one ski that can really can do it all (even some terrain park) this is a great option
Not ideal for
- This is not a great carving ski, it can be carved but with ample rocker and a surfy feel that is not its purpose
- The Mfree 99 is likely too playful for those looking for super stable charging all mountain ski
- Pushing the tips is not recommended with this ski as they are pretty soft

Super fun in imperfect conditions
Originally posted at www.dynastar.com on Feb 14, 2024I am yet to use these in powder, but these skis have transformed my experience in moguls and trails with crud. Upped by game. Fast and easier turns than my more directional M-Pros. You do need to get your center of gravity right, but man or man a fun ski I wish I had found earlier.

Love the ski, Hate the durability!!
Originally posted at www.dynastar.com on Dec 31, 2023I have now gone through two pairs of these skis in the last 22 months (that is only 18 days skiing...). Both of my pairs have delaminated in the tips in the same spot. I am not a heavy guy, nor do I ski these super hard.
I highly reccomend you do not buy these skis at all. I would maybe consider using them if I didn't pay for them them but $800 for a ski that can't even last me a season. That is with no park riding at all.
