The Icelandic Nomad 105 Lite is a great ski for someone who is looking to split their time between off piste days at the resort and in the backcountry. As this ski increases in length, it also increases in underfoot, so at the 191, the underfoot is closer to 110. With that in mind, this makes this ski not the... Read more

Posted on Dec 20, 2023It was a groomer only kind of cruddy day. I wanted to take out my new skis. They were great! Turned fine on the hard pack, ripped through the crud. It def wasn’t the sort of day they were intended for and they still ripped. Excited to get them out in the deep and steep!

Lively all mountain performance with solid edge control
Originally posted at www.icelanticskis.com on Oct 26, 2021This is the best all mountain ski I have ever ridden. The combination of side cut, camber, and rocker will let you excel in powder, crud and hard pack. The light weight construction keeps the swing weight down for snappy turns. My previous skis were K2 Coombacks and I was sad to see them go, but was giddy with delight by the performance of the Nomad Lite. I'm about 5'10" and Under 160 lbs. I chose the 181s. I'm very happy with the choice. So far I have only ridden these inbounds but would have no qualms about taking them B.C.
Be prepared to get a lot of complements about the graphics as well.

Jonny is a great help
5 /5
I came to Jonny without knowing too much about what kind of profile and gear I needed to best fit my riding style and progression. After only a few questions Jonny was already locking in the perfect setup for me. I appreciate Jonny’s attentiveness and knowledgeability in helping me find the perfect balance.

Came back 2 times because I wanted to soak up all the knowledge he was giving. I know I was pissing him off w/ all my questions and he kept it cool and walked me thru everything I needed. He got me to purchase a brand new board by trusting his advice and I’m stoked to strap in and shred w/ it. THANK YOU PRESTON.. now it’s time to retire the old Burton 64 floater that I purchased for 85$

Going on a snowboard trip with my wife next month and this is her first snow trip since she was younger. I really wanted her to feel comfortable in her own gear but make sure she got something that fits her level and dims. Ryan was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Will definitely be coming back next season for a new setup for myself. Thanks Ryan!

Brian took the time to assess my current situation and understand the equipment that I had now. He had great interest in what my desired outcomes and goals were with new equipment and touch base occasionally throughout the past year to ensure the I was aware of updates and product changes, he definitely was a valuable asset in helping me navigate the large amount of options that are in the snowboarding world now!

Bryant was awesome I spoke to him last march about buying a pair of skis on close out. I could not decide. He stayed in contact with me for over year checking in giving options off and on. The ski I wanted was not on sale but finally went on sale he emailed me and got me hooked up before my February and March ski trips. I feel like I got great advice great gear at a great price!
