great open terrain ski
Originally posted at www.armadaskis.com on Feb 1, 2024I have been skiing the ARV 116 for a decade and love them -- best all mountain resort ski ever made -- I purchased the Locator 104 this year expecting similar performance - the Locator is a stiff ski that can eat up any hard pack and open glade terrain -- I was very disappointed with the fast turning capability necessary for tree skiing with this ski design -- I regret the purchase and now will be looking to change to the ARV 116 UL for touring needs.

People love Curated Experts
Great picks for Icy Terrain!
5 /5
Nate was incredibly knowledgeable. I came to curated because I was worried about the differences between Colorado, where I live now, and Virginia, where I am moving to. I knew that my set-up was not gonna cut it for the icy grommed trails of the eastcoast and nate helped me find the right tech for the new terrain I was going to be experiencing! THANK YOU!

Surprisingly awesome.

This is a new business model for me: personal expert guiding me through an expensive purchase. I was a little worried this was AI or at least someone who wanted me to spend max money. However, Christian was not pushy, sent me a lot of info when I asked questions, and guided me towards the best items in my budget. I’d definitely recommend Curated.

First time I ever used Curated and I got paired with a stand-up guy (Jared), he helped me through the process of picking a new board - I've been hesitant to pull the plug on a new one but he got me a great deal and gave me the best options that fit my needs on the mountain. Total bro, 100% recommend - made my curated experience easy and stress free.

He responded back asap for just about a week with me about multiple skis and made sure that he curated my exact needs and I purchased skis and bindings and he even adjusted a price to match a deal that I made him aware of . Couldn’t be more happy and can’t wait to test the new set out

Every year at Christmas I try to get my daughter a snowboarding starter kit and its always so hard. The people in sotres kinda treat you like tgeyre better than you if youre looling for a reasonable deal. There's never what you actually want available. Nicholas was super helpful. I told him what I needed and he picked out all the perfect gear for my duaghter. Im so glad I woke up this morning, googled snowboarding starter kits, and Curated was tye first thing that came up in my search. Thanks, Nick. You just made my duaghters Christmas. And you found me a reasonable deal without sacrificing quality and and the little things that made this set special for my diaghter.

I had a great experience. Logan took all the guesswork out of this purchase, explained each spec so I could make the best purchase for my level and progression, and even sourced some extra options to make sure I was 100% happy. 10 out of 10! I won’t make a purchase like this any other way in the future.
