Product details

The Nitro Team has a reputation for being one of the most iconic snowboards. It has been a staple of the Nitro line for many years and the favorite quiver-killer of the Nitro team. This stiff, true camber board is designed to take on the whole mountain. It is for the rider who wants to rip everything from the park to the backcountry all with one board.

Key Features:

  • Directional Twin – The versatile shape allows the board to have increased stability and perform better in deep snow without creating difficulty for switch riding.
  • Dual Degressive Sidecuts – Sidecuts bend to a smaller radius in the middle of the board and expand towards the tip and tail. This is the most forgiving and playful sidecut in the Nitro line.
  • Powerlite Core – Nitro lightweight materials help make this board ultralight without losing any pop or performance.
  • Sintered Speed Formula HD Base – The new base compound gives this board less resistance and higher speed.
  • Climate Neutral Product – Nitro has made this board with a 100% carbon-neutral footprint. They offset all carbon emissions by investing in climate change solutions and projects.

I think this product is more than ideal for the average rider who gets out around, <60 days a winter. Overall my experience with the board was awesome, but the board did break after I dropped off a ~15 ft. cliff and landed heavy on the nose. Now that is not to say that this board isn't top notch quality, I just think it better suits the average leisure boarder rather than an am/pro rider.

Pros
  • This board is great for riding all mountain riding, carves great and is very powerful through turns.
  • This is one of my favorite board's I have ridden, great all around board for any terrain/riding style.
  • Great stability under foot while riding at high speeds.
Cons
  • The durability wasn't the best over time in the park, but great for the average rider.
