Simon Johnson tested this product
The QST 106 is a phenomenal all-mountain ski that prefers to be a one ski quiver or mid-fat out west ski. I would recommend these to anyone looking for versatility on the slopes from groomers, to bumps to trees. These sticks will get you out there having a blast in all conditions.
Ideal for
- These skis would be best for out west skiing.
- The QST 106 is best for someone looking for a 1 ski quiver.
- The QST 106 is best for all mountain skiing.
Not ideal for
- I wouldn't recommend this to someone looking for tons of tail rocker.
- I wouldn't steer a fresh beginner to these skis.

Love my new Stellas
Originally posted at www.salomon.com on Mar 7, 2023As I was skiing deep snow in Utah, last week this came to me:
They were dreamy in the creamy. No issues ripping through trees and powdery bumps!
I am so happy with this purchase. Stable in the groomers too.

The Everyday Go-To
Originally posted at www.salomon.com on May 13, 2022This is the ski I choose almost everyday. It’s fat and playful enough for the deeper snow but I can also rip GS turns on groomers.

Kat was so helpful!
5 /5
Kat was so patient with all my questions and truly helped me figure out what gear would work best for me! She recommended me a good couple of boards and went into detail on each one and what the different features were and how they’d benefit me. As someone who buys for looks and pretty colors, I’m glad I had help to be confident in my purchase for my ride style and experience level!

I was unsure what ski gear to buy, but Noah settled all my worries. He was extremely knowledgeable and sent me a video explaining everything which gave the whole experience a more personal feel. I am very happy I matched with Noah because he was able to find the best skis for me and answered all my other questions!!

Super Knowledgeable and Accessible
5 /5
As someone buying skis for the first time, but having skied for a few years Leo was incredibly helpful! He took into account what I prioritized but also explained why a suggestion might be out of my initial request. For example, he got ahead of my question on why bindings are expensive and why it is important to not only focus on the skis but the bindings as well.

Frankie really dialed in the board for me
5 /5
He has extensive knowledge, and was really able to find the perfect setup for me and my riding style as well as my bank account. Also was honest and kept me from making a purchase that I might regret. We talked for at least an hour and the whole time he was very helpful. All in all he really knows his stuff when it comes to getting you into the perfect set up. I highly recommend him. Thanks again Frankie.

Tyler was awesome!
5 /5
I’ve been using a board from 2005 for the last 4 or so years now. Finally decided it was time to upgrade but had no idea of what to upgrade to. He asked what I was looking for, and ended up narrowing it down to exactly what I need/want, to further my skills. He’s very knowledgeable and approachable, and overall very friendly. Was nice talking to Tyler and I’m super stoked to get up on the mountain.
