Big improvement over the (already good) S/Max
Originally posted at www.salomon.com on Aug 14, 2022The S/Pro Alpha 120’s fit is incredibly dialed for low-volume feet, with an ultra-snug cuff that wraps the lower leg with room for shin bang. But the new shape raises the top of the scaffo above the instep and will be much more generous for a lot of skiers. The tongue of the boot starts stiff and ramps up very quickly, delivering precise turn-initiation and snappy feedback on snow, the lateral stiffness felt incredible carving high-speed turns and snaking through bump lines. I was impressed by Salomon’s attention to customer feedback, improving the fit and features of their low-volume offering in new and surprising ways.
