Incredible fit and heal hold
Originally posted at www.salomon.com on Dec 2, 2023I have a narrow foot and narrow heal. Used to always ski in race boots. This is the second version of this boot I have skied and it is incredible heal hold. And the grip walk sole is fantastic.

Big improvement over the (already good) S/Max
Originally posted at www.salomon.com on Aug 14, 2022The S/Pro Alpha 120’s fit is incredibly dialed for low-volume feet, with an ultra-snug cuff that wraps the lower leg with room for shin bang. But the new shape raises the top of the scaffo above the instep and will be much more generous for a lot of skiers. The tongue of the boot starts stiff and ramps up very quickly, delivering precise turn-initiation and snappy feedback on snow, the lateral stiffness felt incredible carving high-speed turns and snaking through bump lines. I was impressed by Salomon’s attention to customer feedback, improving the fit and features of their low-volume offering in new and surprising ways.

Shopping for a new board for the first time in (gasp) 17 years! I have been riding a Burton Feelgood and while I still love the board, it's time to see how things have changed.
