Salomon Echo Dual Boa Snowboard Boots provide all-mountain versatility and are suitable for the rider who wants the ability fine tune their boot fit to maximize comfort and performance. Salomon's patented rubber technology provides optimal on-snow grip in a construction that, at 10% lighter, is more compact and lightweight. This boot's mid-stiff flex pattern will perform in any terrain where quick response is a must.

Key Features:

  • Targeted Lacing Technology – The use of a Dual Zone Boa lacing system offers zone-specific lacing customization which allows for adjustable performance and comfort fit options. This is combined by the use of low-friction and flexible Boa lace technology (TX3 BOA Lace), for uniform lacing.
  • Precision Harness – An integrated harness increases heel hold and support from the inside of the boot.
  • Custom, Reliable Fit – Salomon's full custom fit liner is heat moldable from the toes to the calf, allowing for the perfect fit. The boot's 1:1 lasting also works to ensure riders get the best fit possible. With every half size, there is a corresponding half change in the outer boot assigned to it.
  • Insole – The liner is made of Quickdry, a moisture-wicking material unique to Salomon, and works to keep feet dry. The insole also features OrthoLite Eco-Hybrid, which is made from recycled eco-materials. Environmentally-conscious riders can enjoy the increased support and comfort of this dual-density insole and heel cup with peace of mind because it is eco-friendly.

I picked up the Salomon Echo Dual Boa last year as it seemed to check all the boxes for what I was seeking. I was coming from years of riding the Salomon Dialogue Dual Boa. I kept blowing the Dialogue boots up after 2 seasons (roughly 30-40 days a season) so I figured I needed to up the stiffness in... Read more
Ideal for
  • Riders wanting to step into a stiffer boot without rattling bones
  • Built to keep a rider planted while blasting through any kind of snow
  • Double Boa makes getting in and out quick and easy
Not ideal for
  • Fit runs a bit narrow of normal, which a lot of Salomon boots tend to
  • Heel hold results will vary depending on foot shape, but the internal harness could be better
  • Included insole doesn't provide any arch support

Superb build quality - some pros & cons

Originally posted at www.salomon.com on Mar 26, 2024
I got these boots as a replacement for my Echo lace-boa boots due to a mishap. Salomon customer service and warranty has been fantastic throughout a replacement process. I was pleased with lace-boa version - the boa tightens the internal str8-jkt over your ankle which virtually eliminates heal lift. I have a narrow foot and heal, so even with extra insoles and added pads to the liner this feature worked well. I decided to try the dual-boa as a replacement. I mistakenly thought one boa would control the internal ankle (like my previous) and the other the external lacing. No so....The internal ankle strap is part of tightening drawstring that closes the liner and draws down on the ankle web. I found it hard to get the same amount of draw using this vs. the "ST8-JKT" boa system used on the lace version. The "dual" boas tighten the foot section and the ankle section independently. I also found that it was a bit hard to get the internal lace and ankle strap to release easily to get your foot in. The added benefit of the boa control for the ankle is that you can pop it and release tension - say for a break - then crank it up as needed without opening the laces as you would with the dual boa. The boa for the upper lace section has an auto wind that takes up slack - this seemed to make getting the boot on difficult as you have to sort of fight to keep the tongue open. Once on, the boa(s) work great and simplify tightening up the shell. Because of these issues I felt they would not work for me. So I did not use them. Customer service suggested I try the "Synapse". Which I did and found it to be, for me, the best of all features. To sum up. Yes I would recommend to a friend, but only if they could try side by side with other models. All are outstanding quality and built to perform and last. The differences in features need to be seen and tried out first hand. Salomon asked for a review of the dual-boa. Since I now have had 3 different Salomon boots to either own, use, or trial - I could not avoid doing this as a comparison. For me the dual-boa gets 3 stars The lace-boa 4 stars The Synapse gets 5 stars

Bad fitment with flat feet

Originally posted at www.salomon.com on Mar 13, 2024
Too much volume with flat feet. Can not tighten because of inner strap being too long. Will always heel lift. Tried smaller size but then toes hit front of booth. Then the boa is bad, shifting place. Save money, stay away.

Luke was amazing
5 /5
This was my first ever time buying ski’s and look guided me through it like he was a city tour guide. You cannot get a better person than Luke on curated. I was able to text him like he was a friend and ask question about certain skis and he would answer always in a great response quickly.

Alex Was extremely patient.
5 /5
Alex was extremely patient with me, it took me a couple months, to finally decide which board to get. Even when I ghosted him for several weeks, which I do feel bad about, he was kind and patient and saw all the way through to the end with me. Will be purchasing more from curated in the future and I hope it’s through Alex.

Jared was extremely knowledgeable!

I really like how Curated approaches their sales process. With so many option the nuances between boards and sizes can make deciding on a board difficult. I loved that I could talk to Jared and bounce ideas off a real person who had a deep knowledge base. I looked at a ton of reviews and talked with shops, but I gained the most insight into my decision by chatting with Jared. He wasn't pushy and genuinely seemed stoked!

I had a great experience with Nate helping me find a new snowboard! I’ve been looking to elevate my rides and he gave me so much information but in such an organized fashion that I did not feel overwhelmed. He knows what he’s talking about and had first hand experience on the slopes ! I’m super satisfied with Nate’s help! I ended up buying a new board same day. So stoked for the new season.

Tristan was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. He's got me looking good and feeling good next time i'm on the slopes.
5 /5
I kind of had an idea about what i was looking for, but Tristan helped me really get dialed in with the perfect gear. He helped me with sizing the board because i was torn between getting a wide board or not. He did a great job at explaining what he liked about certain products, so it was very helpful when picking out my stuff. The prices that i have seen for some of this gear on this website is incredible. Tristan really knows his stuff and i couldn't recommend him more.
