The Curated Take

This helmet is made for a range of riders. beginner - expert. This Smith Holt is a great minimalistic helmet without all the bells and whistles compared to other helmets. The Holt is featured with adjustable chin strap, cushioned ear pads, goggle clip and small vents. The slight lip on the nose of the helmet is great for fitting compatible with most goggle. Also it keeps snow from falling onto your goggles

This is a super light weight helmet that is great for all types of riding. The style is more of a terrain park look but it works great for where ever your adventures may take you. You forget its on your head because of how comfortable it fits. Plus it works with goggles, avoiding the dreadful gaper gap.

Pros
  • A great park helmet
  • lightweight so it's easy to bring anywhere
  • works great for all mountain riding
Cons
  • not great ventilation
  • no "mipps" system
  • Make sure it fits properly

Half of snowboarding is just looking good! So why wouldn't you want a helmet that not only performs well but makes you look good? The Smith Holt is a killer helmet in all aspects. I like to wear a beanie underneath my helmet and the Holt's removable ear muffs provide an easy way to do so. The helmet also is a killer bang for your buck helmet and provides all the protection you may need if you are a wild rider and lose control sometimes where you may fall on your head.

Pros
  • It has killer style, with the ear muffs in or out. It will always look good.
  • The protection is awesome.
  • The fit is a great fit. Ear muffs in or out.
Cons
  • The vents are always open. No way to close the vents even on colder days.
