It may just be my head shape, but this is not a super comfortable helmet for me. I much prefer the fit of Bern helmets, but I wound up with this one after I got smoked on a training day before a banked slalom race. My Bern helmet cracked (but not my skull!!!) and I needed something to race in. This helmet was the right price point for a spur of the moment purchase and was very warm in the sub zero Canadian temps.
The first thing I noticed was that while warm, the ear flaps were extremely padded, blocking out all sound around me. For me, this is not ideal, as I prefer to hear people coming up behind me (I wonder why???). So I disassembled the helmet to rip out the extra foam in the ear flaps, but in doing so, the plastic MIPS broke!!!! I went back to the shop, and a rep was there who had a spare part to fix it for me. Luckily he was there, otherwise I would have had to buy ANOTHER helmet!!!!
I do like the vents on top, my goggles stay secured, and so far it's done a good job protecting my head, which is obviously the most important!

This helmet is an awesome choice for any skiier or snowboarder looking for protection at a reasonable price. I was surprised how lightweight this helmet is and it feels very comfortable all day riding. It was reasonably breathable with the ventilation adjustment system. The only downside I found with this helmet is it didn't perfectly pair with all my goggles, only my POC goggles. I'd recommend sticking with Smith goggles or POC goggles if you want a more seamless look and to avoid the dreaded "gaper gap" Overall this helmet has protected my head numerous times and I've been incredibly happy with it.
