Expert verdict

The Nidecker Muon-X Snowboard Bindings are a fantastic choice for those just starting out or looking to refine their skills. What I love about these bindings is their mellow flex, which makes them forgiving and perfect for learning new tricks. The asymmetric design adds comfort, and the glass-filled nylon baseplate ensures a snug fit with any boot. The off-axis power beams are a game-changer, providing efficient energy transfer for smooth heel-to-toe transitions. While they might not be the stiffest option out there, their flexibility is a boon for beginners eager to experiment with presses and grabs. Overall, these bindings offer great value and comfort, making them a solid pick for anyone looking to progress on the slopes.

Nidecker is all about fancy new snowboard bindings with their Supermatic stuff, but even their most affordable bindings are super cool! They're very easy to use and have a pretty comfy combo of a fabric top strap and a one-piece toe strap. It usually keeps your feet comfy and stops them from getting "ouchy". Also, under the heel, there's an... Read more

Too big

Originally posted at www.nidecker.com on Mar 17, 2024
Bought the bindings 2 weeks ago and used them everyday eversince. They are super comfortable to ride and easy to install. My boot size is 43 1/3 so regarding to the size details I bought them in L. Unfortunately they are way too big. I can just about close them. size M woul'ved been way better. Also the toe buckle has a hard time closing from time to time. It's just slipping up again. My old bindings broke before, so I had to use these and couldn't return them. It's okay but not optimal, I would recommend size M up to boot size 44!

Toe buckle broke quick

Originally posted at www.nidecker.com on Feb 28, 2024
Stoked on how comfortable these are to ride and how easily the usually clip in and release, but one of my toe buckles wouldn't release and ended up busting! The place I bought em didn't have a replacement, so now I'm hoping I can get the right one off the site.

Kat was so helpful!
5 /5
Kat was so patient with all my questions and truly helped me figure out what gear would work best for me! She recommended me a good couple of boards and went into detail on each one and what the different features were and how they’d benefit me. As someone who buys for looks and pretty colors, I’m glad I had help to be confident in my purchase for my ride style and experience level!

As someone buying skis for the first time, but having skied for a few years Leo was incredibly helpful! He took into account what I prioritized but also explained why a suggestion might be out of my initial request. For example, he got ahead of my question on why bindings are expensive and why it is important to not only focus on the skis but the bindings as well.

He has extensive knowledge, and was really able to find the perfect setup for me and my riding style as well as my bank account. Also was honest and kept me from making a purchase that I might regret. We talked for at least an hour and the whole time he was very helpful. All in all he really knows his stuff when it comes to getting you into the perfect set up. I highly recommend him. Thanks again Frankie.

Tyler was awesome!
5 /5
I’ve been using a board from 2005 for the last 4 or so years now. Finally decided it was time to upgrade but had no idea of what to upgrade to. He asked what I was looking for, and ended up narrowing it down to exactly what I need/want, to further my skills. He’s very knowledgeable and approachable, and overall very friendly. Was nice talking to Tyler and I’m super stoked to get up on the mountain.
