The captis birdie was my first freeski I've bought, and I've never been happier with a purchase than with these skis. They are playful, flexible skis that can still keep control over sharper, deep turns. As an ex-ski racer, I felt comfortable putting 110% into my turns and still maintaining an edge. I've taken these skis on groomers, moguls, moderately... Read more
Ideal for
- Flexible, forgiving skis that can still handle sharp turns
- Reliable in all terrain, from groomers to moguls to trees
- Light skis that float well
Not ideal for
- Top sheet delaminates somewhat easily, prone to chipping
- Too soft for skiers who prefer a stiffer ski

This ski is great for a lightweight rider looking to blend freestyle and carving into a one-ski quiver. With a short turning radius and partial twin tip, this ski offers room to play. What this ski lacks in width and powder performance it truly makes up for in flex and edge-to-edge ride.
Ideal for
- Ski is responsive and lightweight due to poplar core
- Medium-soft flex for maximizing freestyle abilities
- Tight turn radius for a nimble ride
Not ideal for
- Can struggle in deeper snow
- A softer ski making crud busting harder

Spencer is the man
5 /5
Came here pretty clueless and wanted to find some gear for cheap, but as we know, gear is not cheap. So Spencer gave me some recommendations on some used stuff I was looking at elsewhere and helped me and my girlfriend dial in our setups for the season! It was super helpful having someone knowledgeable discuss options and specifics with each piece of gear. Very happy customer :)

I was honestly just trying to figure out what the best size board would be for me and he took me step by step through the process. I would not have bought anything if he wasn't so much help. It was an easy process and he made me feel confident in what I was buying. If its your just looking for your first board or looking to replace one Bobby would give you great suggestions that you can select from.

Leif is the man!

This is my first time buying a board setup, and much would have been a daunting task, except Leif turned that around for me. He made excellent recommendations and took well to my feedback. He was honest with what would be better for my skill set and gave me a range of options. Without Leif’s expertise, id be getting the wrong everything, just wasting time and money. Thanks again!!
