I've been using a variety of helmet brands over the years, but I've found that the Smith Mission is tried and true. Smith is constantly innovating to provide industry leading safety features while maintaining a fair price. I've found that other brands don't fit goggles that well, but Smith's Mission fits several of the goggles I use without letting snow or air through gaps. I also really like the adjustable vents and how easy the fit is to adjust via a thumb knob on the back. I do sometimes wish that the chin strap was a little easier to adjust, but once it's adjusted, I don't need to touch it after that. Overall, I would recommend the Smith Mission helmet for any skier or snowboarder no matter their ability.

Great product. Very comfortable and breathable. MIPS technology is key. I have smith goggles with this helmet and a very flush fit. I would not change my helmet brand from this one, and I have tried other helmet brands to compare. I find this helmet to be the best of the bunch.

What was your favorite moment with this gear?
My favorite moment with the Smith Mission MIPS Helmet was when I clipped a tree branch that I though was going to take my head right off. I hear a loud smack and I wasn't phased at all. At the end of the day I brushed a tiny scuff off with a Magic Eraser and it looked like new again.Answered by:

I had many questions, and after a few days we finally got stuff figured out. Throughout the whole process he was very helpful and knowledgeable which is defiantly better then going to facebook marketplace. I tried that, but the information from an expert just helps much more. I very much enjoyed working with Leo on my ski purchase. I had done some research on my own but had not settled on a particular ski. I was super skeptical of this website at first I assumed the suggestions were just from an AI generated bot, but Leo is definitely a real human and a knowledgeable one at that! I went to 3 different ski shops in my area and I was sized wrong, told certain brands were high quality when they weren’t, would have been paying to much and just put on a bad path overall. I was very nervous about buying my first pair of skis as they can be quite expensive and you want to get them right, however, as soon as I found curated and was paired with Hayden all the nervousness turned into pure excitement. Hayden took the time to explain, answer questions, and pick the perfect curation for me. It made choosing skis a fun process rather than a stressful one.
