I took this hood out on different weather days to see how it stood up. Pretty great on a mild, sunny weather day. Wasn't too hot and helped keep the hair out of my face while riding. The material was perfect for under my helmet as it wasnt too heavy/ thick and didnt make me sweat.
Also took it out on a colder, windy day of riding. The face mask was great for keeping my face from freezing and was easy to pull up and down. Did not ice up super quickly like many face covers seem to. I did need a beanie along with the hood as the hood itself is not very warm, especially with the wind.
The material is super soft and feels good against your face. Doesn't chafe like some hoods do. Fits really well under a helmet.
Ideal for
- Great for keeping face covered from biting winds. Easy to pull up and down.
- The moisture from breathing doesnt instantly freeze solid like other hoods
- Soft material, doesn't chafe
Not ideal for
- Not meant to be a super warm hood. Would recommend a beanie with hood if its really cold.
- Hood by hairline could be a bit longer to help cover the forehead more

I am truly grateful for the time Daniela spent taking care of my many questions as I decided on equipment for skiing. There are so many measurements to deal with (Daniela mentioned ones I didn’t even know I needed to know) it was frustrating. She held my hand, and I’m confident I have something for my skill level. There are settings I know I will need some pro help on like DIN settings. I’m looking forward to hitting the slopes with my new gear. Thanks Daniela!

I was in the market for a new snowboard and bindings for the 2024 season. I have had the same set up for about 10 years now and was ready to invest in a solid set up.
