Who would love these
They are best suited to flat or rolling terrain and not ideal for skiing up and down mountains. For making tracks in the backyard, beginner backcountry skiers, and anyone looking to do both groomed-trail skiing at Nordic centers and ungroomed, off-trail excursions, this is a great fit.
Why I recommend these
Expert verdict
For anyone looking for a dependable pair of cross-country skis to explore the great outdoors, I highly recommend the Rossignol BC 65 Positrack skis. These waxless cross-country backcountry skis are the ideal width for light off-trail/ungroomed touring, but are still narrow enough to fit in groomed classic tracks. You can use them virtually anywhere except rugged backcountry adventures where wider skis would offer more control and traction. They have full-length metal edges for control and, with Rossignol's patented waxless base, they are incredibly low-maintenance and fool-proof in most conditions (except solid ice, where any waxless ski would slip). These skis come with BC Auto Bindings (note: bindings are not guaranteed to come mounted), are NNN BC-compatible, and should be paired with NNN BC boots.

Is this ski recommended for you?
Explore the path less traveled. The BC 65 Positrack ski moves comfortably from groomed tracks to off-trail exploring and back thanks to a lightweight wood core and full-length metal edges. The waxless Positrack base provides confident grip and glide in all snow conditions with no prep required.
