The Curated Take
This board has the speed stability and deep carving ability that more advanced riders might seek out while still keeping maneuverability at slower speeds. This board is slightly softer than last year's version but still a mid stiff board. It holds well on ice and is speedy in any kind of weather or terrain. Out of the 5 days I tested this board, one of them was very warm and rainy and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it maintains its speed and carving abilities even in slush. The setback stance and the weight of the board also makes for great times in powder. I did not find this board to be super playful, poppy or press-able. In feel, this one reminded me of the Jones Women's Stratos in a lot of regards. I would 100% recommend this board to the person who wants one, high-performing, do-it-all board, especially if you're not committed to wanting it to excel in freestyle.
- Handles variable terrain well
- Carves almost anywhere
- Lightweight
- Not super poppy
