The Thirtytwo shifty boa is a great beginner boot, built for comfort and flexibility on the hill. I would say it is best suited for all-day park laps or a good resort boot, but if you are someone who likes to do a bit of boot packing through the powder, it isn't the most insulated one from Thirtytwo, and you could be left with a couple of cold toes. Its Boa technology makes it quick and easy to lace up, and its soft flex makes it an easy transition into the sport.

I had been on the same gear for over a decade, and therefore had no idea what to buy as all my gear started to fail at the same time. Henry asked me a lot of questions about my experience, terrain preferences, ski style, and gear history. Also what I was looking to do. This guy will answer as many questions as you can throw his way- even if you ask the same question 5 different ways. NEVER felt like he got annoyed with me. Josh helped me figure out exactly what it is that I needed.
