The Curated Take

The Burton Process is a solid all-mountain option for the casual snowboarder. High-level beginners to easy-going advanced riders can hop on this board and have a good time! This board camber between the bindings so it's not suitable for true beginners, but it's also soft flexing so it's much more approchable than other camber-based snowboards. However, due to this soft flex, it's not going to be stable at high speeds or in gnarly terrain like bumps, choppy snow, or the trees. For this reason, it's a board that works for riders who are cruising mostly greens and blues with low to moderate speed (although it will handle mellow blacks decently). It's easy to muanever and overall a breeze to control and ride! Casual park riders who stick to small-medium features will also appreciate how lightweight and snappy it is from that camber!

Ideal for
  • Very easy to turn with minimal effort
  • great for casual freestyle riding (small and medium parks)
  • Mellow camber for an amazing introduction to camber
Not ideal for
  • unstable at higher speeds
  • too noodly for bigger jumps and rails
  • subpar float in fresh snow

The Men's Burton Process Camber Snowboard is a lightweight true twin with a playful feel in an all-mountain charger package. Designed with the help of professional snowboarder Mark McMorris, the Process is a freestyle-inspired board that is best for riders looking to turn the whole mountain into their terrain park. Best suited for a rider who has intermediate to advanced riding skills and likes ripping down groomers, shredding black diamonds, finding pow stashes, and hucking hips, jumps, and anything in between.

Key Features:

  • Twin Tip Shape – The classic true twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced and stable ride.
  • Channel Board Mount – Burton's own Channel Board Mounting system is featured on these boards. They're designed to dial in the perfect stance and board feel.
  • Sintered Base – Built with a sintered base that is highly porous and durable, this base has superior wax absorption, durability, and a greater overall glide.

I finished a season snowboarding in Snoqualmie Pass and Sarah was great at offering insight about what kinds of gear were best for the terrain I'd see at my typical groomed mountains! She was very responsive to all of my questions and it felt like I was asking a friend for advice rather than a sales pitcher. I feel grateful to have matched with a knowledgeable local and will look to get more recommendations from her. It is my first time buying snowboarding gear and Curated had just what I needed - price match included!

Nico rocked!

Nico helped me tackle the overwhelming and vast realm of purchasing my first ski setup. He was super knowledgeable and took the time to learn about me. The gear he picked out for me really catered towards what I told him I liked to do on the mountain as well as my budget restrictions. All in all great experience and really helped me get over the hump of investing in my own gear!

Eric was very responsive & knowledgeable. He suggested ski bindings & skis that I think I am really going to enjoy. He listened to me & answered all my questions & made suggestions according to my ski style, ability & needs. I will deff be a returning customer! Eric knows his stuff & is very personable. Ski equipment is always changing, it can be overwhelming, but Eric guided me in the right direction & I feel confident in my purchase thanks to him! Great job! Thank you!

Wasn't planning on making my purchase today but he steered me in the right direction with prompt knowledge and recommendations that took all of my input into account. Not pushy in the slightest. Left me with enough information right off the bat to keep it brief and feel like I had what I needed to make a decision.

I've been using the same skis for 13 years and have been agonizing over getting a new setup. After doing tons of research and spinning in circles, I decided to reach out to a Curated expert for help. Henry was exactly what I needed. He made sound recommendations based on my needs, was responsive to my many questions, and served as the voice of reason I needed. He also worked out a good deal. A couple hours after reaching out to Curated and connecting with Henry, I made my long awaited purchase. I can't wait to use my new set up.
