The Men's Burton Cartographer Snowboard is the perfect blend of all-mountain freedom and pow-slashing big mountain stability. Built with a wider nose, tapered tail, and medium flex, this board allows the camber board to plow through crud, float in deep powder, and keep it playful all over the hill. This board is best suited for the rider looking to make deep carving turns, dig trenches, and blast through the powder.
Key Features:
- Directional Twin Shape – This all-mountain directional shape means this board has a wider and longer nose, and a shorter tail, allowing easier float and control of the board.
- Bend/Profile – This board features a camber bend/profile under both feet for stability, and a rockered nose for added lift to increase float.
- Board Mount – This board features Burton's Channel Board Mounting system for the most precise riding stance.

The Burton Cartographer is a great, fun board! The extended tail and very short tail enable the nose to absolutely float like a dream in deep powder. I first took this board to Whistler, BC and was unimpressed on the slick, icy conditions. However, the next that was a 12 inch powder day! Wow did it perform well! Perfect for... Read more

Ben Toll tested this product
This is a great board for your average rider that is looking to just hit the resort for the day. It can be ridden as a daily driver, and all around a great product. The one thing I will say is the flex may be a factor for some riders.
Ideal for
- Playful
- Floaty
- Fast
Not ideal for
- Edge

Beautiful board that handles speed and carving.
Originally posted at www.burton.com on Apr 4, 2024Directional board that feels comfortable landing the wrong side, the board is stiff and you feel sturdy when you send it down the slopes. If you're more experienced, probably go for a better board, this is a great board for me to learn and continue to grow on. Absolute blast using the board and the design isn't atrocious so I appreciate that.

If you can have only one board...
Originally posted at www.burton.com on Apr 3, 2024Great all mountain board, camber under your feet gives you edge for great carving power and pop on groomers and rocker front lets you ride through chunder with no control problems. Decent float in powder. Coming from riding straight camber boards for decades I wasn't too sure about the hybrid camber but I couldn't have been more wrong. Best of all worlds in this board for all mountain riding.

He help me find what gear was right for me and matched the price of all my gear. This has definitely been the best customer experience I have ever received. Bro gave a great deal on some sick gear. I really excited to try my new gear and I am very happy with the whole experience. Give this man a raise.

I knew I wanted skiing gear for the season, but didn’t know anything about the ski gear. Leo walked me through some great options and explained the differences. I really appreciate that he found sales items. On an aesthetic level he made sure things looked like they went together instead of just a random assortment of colors.

Leif was very patient with my picky nature for choosing my first board. He kept sending me really great options! His feedback for the boards were really insightful and the picks for my boots and bindings were perfect! This was a really fun and unique experience. Highly recommend to my friends that I’ll be riding with!

I was looking to purchase a new setup (snowboard, boots, bindings, and googles) for the upcoming season. Everything I have is very worn out. The last time I purchased a new setup was ten years ago, and I did not know where to start. So, I went through the "find your snowboard" quiz and was matched with Mike. From there we were able to really dial in my setup. I can't wait to try it out! Thank you Mike!

Super impressed!
5 /5
I'm getting back into snowboarding after a lonnngg hiatus and Leif knew exactly what I needed for both my skill level and the exact mountain I will be spending time at this winter. I had a pretty small budget considering the cost of gear and he found me a board and bindings way under budget. I was thrilled. I was also delighted that I got a personalized video describing my options. Highly recommended!

Ryan was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I can in knowing nothing about snowboards and I gave him a weird task of trying to find a board that would work for both me and my brother at different weights. I appreciate how happy he was to help and how he kept checking in on me wanting to help.

Jay is Awesome!
5 /5
Jay is very knowledgeable when it comes to snowboards. If you really want to dive into the differences between the materials, and engineering behind snowboards Jay is the guy to get into these conversations with. I’ve been riding for 25 plus years, and at this point in my life, I really appreciate Jay being there to just talk about the different nuances of snowboarding. I feel he was really able to understand the type of riding I like to do, and where i want to take my riding, and made excellent gear recommendations.
