Its directional twin shape and medium flex make it a joy to carve through powder and tackle groomers with ease. The wider nose and tapered tail offer excellent float, while the camber profile ensures stability. The Men's Burton Cartographer Snowboard is the perfect blend of all-mountain freedom and pow-slashing big mountain stability. Built with a wider nose, tapered tail, and medium flex, this board allows the camber board to plow through crud, float in deep powder, and keep it playful all over the hill. This board is best suited for the rider looking to make deep carving turns, dig trenches, and blast through the powder.

Key Features:

  • Directional Twin Shape – This all-mountain directional shape means this board has a wider and longer nose, and a shorter tail, allowing easier float and control of the board.
  • Bend/Profile – This board features a camber bend/profile under both feet for stability, and a rockered nose for added lift to increase float.
  • Board Mount – This board features Burton's Channel Board Mounting system for the most precise riding stance.

The Burton Cartographer is a great, fun board! The extended tail and very short tail enable the nose to absolutely float like a dream in deep powder. I first took this board to Whistler, BC and was unimpressed on the slick, icy conditions. However, the next that was a 12 inch powder day! Wow did it perform well! Perfect for... Read more

This is a great board for your average rider that is looking to just hit the resort for the day. It can be ridden as a daily driver, and all around a great product. The one thing I will say is the flex may be a factor for some riders.
Ideal for
  • Playful
  • Floaty
  • Fast
Not ideal for
  • Edge

Beautiful board that handles speed and carving.

Directional board that feels comfortable landing the wrong side, the board is stiff and you feel sturdy when you send it down the slopes. If you're more experienced, probably go for a better board, this is a great board for me to learn and continue to grow on. Absolute blast using the board and the design isn't atrocious so I appreciate that.

If you can have only one board...

Great all mountain board, camber under your feet gives you edge for great carving power and pop on groomers and rocker front lets you ride through chunder with no control problems. Decent float in powder. Coming from riding straight camber boards for decades I wasn't too sure about the hybrid camber but I couldn't have been more wrong. Best of all worlds in this board for all mountain riding.

Vince was so caring and helpful, I am a skier and my partner is a snowboarder and her board and all her gear recently got stolen. I decided to surprise her with a new set of gear, but had no idea what I was looking at! Vince made it easy to understand, and for that I am so so grateful. Feeling glad I chose Curated!

Nate was incredibly knowledgeable. I came to curated because I was worried about the differences between Colorado, where I live now, and Virginia, where I am moving to. I knew that my set-up was not gonna cut it for the icy grommed trails of the eastcoast and nate helped me find the right tech for the new terrain I was going to be experiencing! THANK YOU!

This is a new business model for me: personal expert guiding me through an expensive purchase. I was a little worried this was AI or at least someone who wanted me to spend max money. However, Christian was not pushy, sent me a lot of info when I asked questions, and guided me towards the best items in my budget. I’d definitely recommend Curated.
