Ideal for
- Not messing with straps and bending over before every run.
- High degree of precision response for carving, the Master's winner of the Legendary Mt. Baker Banked Slalom won in Step Ons this year.
- Free-ride, steeps, powder, and not waisting time, nice variety of boots / flexes available too, from an ever growing list of brands.
Not ideal for
- The rivet on top of the high-back of the Genesis binding tends to brake, so best to take care while chair lift loading.
- While rare, it is possible to not be completely engaged without realizing it.
- Like a strap binding, always clear snow to prevent formation of ice, and insure solid engagement.

The Genesis high back offers more all day riding comfort and flex than the standard Re:flex version. And if all day riding comfort is high on your list, then this version is your pick.
