The Curated Take

The Tyrolia attacks have steadily climbed the ranks over the years as one of my favorite ski bindings on the market because they offer outstanding quality at a low to market price in a number of fun colors to tailor to your personality. One of the biggest features I notice is how easy they are to step into and get out of compared to other bindings. This makes it easy to kick your skis off at the lodge or click back in when you eject from a rowdy maneuver in deep powder. They feel light on the feet and though they're not the most low profile of bindings, the power transfer feels smooth and I feel locked in on my skis. The durability for hard use and versatility for all mountain skiing has me confident in their performance for any skier looking for reliable retention and clean release when needed.

This is a super solid all mountain binding for skiers that are looking to CHARGE. Paired with the right all mountain ski, skiers can feel empowered to take on anything. The newer heel design keeps boots locked in and ready to go. As locked in as you feel, this binding will release if necessary. It is adjustable to different boot heights, and works with boots that have gripwalk. If I ever need to recommend a binding, I choose this one!

Pros
  • Durable
  • Everyday use
  • High din range
Cons
  • Sturdy hardware makes for a heavier binding
