The Callaway Jaws Raw wedges are a fantastic all-around players style wedge to provide maximum spin on full shots and chips. This high level of spin is generated by the raw face and the most aggressive groove milling from Callaway to date. I found it remarkable that some of the first chips I was hitting with these wedges were range balls and was getting them to stop on a dime. What was also impressive was the feel off the face with the addition of the tungsten inserts to the back of the head. Ultimately these wedges found their way into may bag after being a lifelong Vokey player because of their spin, feel, and overall consistency of my wedge strikes.

The Jaws Raw Plasma wedge has many different grinds and lofts to help with everyone's short game. There are low bounce options with grinds that allow someone to open the club face more to hit more flop and splash shots. The grooves offer a lot of spin to stop the ball quicker around the greens which will keep your ball closer to the pin. The short answer is yes they're suitable for all golfers. There are lots of options for these wedges in terms of bounce, loft, and grind. Some of those combinations are more forgiving than others. Bounce for lack of a better explanation is how thick the bottom of the club is. The more bounce a club has, generally the more forgiving it's going to be on fat shots. Callaway gives lots of choices for these wedges and there will be a setup that works for each golfer. So in the end, yes these wedges are suitable for all golfers because there are many options to choose from to suit everyone's needs.Answered by:

Corrosion dots after one month

I didn’t play a lot with it but I used in on a pitch & putt to practice getting out the bunker.It was rainy and even if i cleaned the wedge well after playing, I’ve observed many little corrosion dots, appearing on the surface.

Now of course it’s not just the club, I also am using it correctly. I highly recommend going and trying the club out and then go from there.

Sara recommended 3 choices for woods and irons. I settled on the TRS2 3W and TRS2 Hybrid with specific shafts she also recommended and the Golf Pride Tour Wrap G2 grips I preferred. I selected the Mizuno JPX923 Hot Metal Pro Irons and got the 4-PW and added the G, L and S wedges with the shafts Sara recommended and the same grips I preferred. This combo is the best I have ever hit providing me with great satisfaction almost each time I hit the ball as I still, occasionally, hit a bad shot but that’s on me and not the club selection. Sara really was spot on with her selection of clubs for me and I also was recommended the Scotty Cameron Phantom putter which is the best putter I have ever had. Thanks again Sara! Really appreciate your knowledge and help!
