It is 80mm wide with a small amount of tip rocker and a flat tail. The S/Force holds its edge well on hard snow and can plow through crud and chopped up runs. Reinforced with Salomon carbon/flax material blend, this Salomon ski has a lot of camber and stays very stable at speed without being overly demanding. Bindings included, this makes an awesome ski set up for skiers who like carving smooth turns all over the mountain.

- Poplar Wood Core – Salomon uses poplar wood throughout the ski to create a durable and long-lasting ski that has plenty of energy and responsiveness.
- Rocker Profile – The ski has a small amount of tip rocker to help with turn initiation, while most of the ski is camber, and the tail is flat to really increase edge hold on hard snow.
- C/FX Material – Salomon uses their signature carbon/flax blend in the tips of the ski to further reduce tip chatter and increase carving performance at higher speeds.
- M11 GW Bindings – The Salomon S/Force FX.80 comes with a reliable binding with a DIN range up to 11. The bindings are compatible with gripwalk and traditional boot soles.
