The Hestra Fall Line Mitts were a huge upgrade to my setup this season. These are premium mittens for any level of rider that values all day warmth and overall quality. I love how these mittens fit like a glove underneath and holds each individual finger snug like a traditional glove would. The interior liner is super soft and smooth and the exterior cowhide palm is extremely thick and durable. These mittens will hold up well as long as they are cared for properly. They come with Hestra balm so they can be polished once the leather dries out. I personally had a liner with my last pair of mittens but rarely used it so I definitely didn't miss having an additional liner with these, the size fits my hands perfectly. I've had many conversations about my love for my new Hestra mittens on the chairlift, really solid quality and I know these will last me a long time!
Ideal for
- Extremely warm, velvety material holds individual fingers like an interior glove would vs. mitten.
- Premium waterproofing to keep hands dry all day riding.
- Neoprene cuff fits smoothly around wrist in jacket so they won't fall off when removed.
Not ideal for
- The exterior of these mittens do dry out so it's an absolute necessity to use the Hestra balm at least once per season.
- These don't come with an additional liner so size accordingly.

What do you love about this product?
These mittens are the definition of quality, they keep my hands warm in the coldest of conditions. The interior is incredibly soft like smooth velvet. One of my favorite features is the elastic handcuffs. Super helpful to know the mittens won't fall off the chairlift when I'm needing to take them off.Answered by:

My most favorite moment with these so far is wearing them in Idaho when it was extremely cold while riding. In the past I've felt my mittens don't seal in the heat especially when its freezing. Luckily with my Hestras, I've never had issues having the cold seep in. Even taking them off briefly and putting them back on, its not too difficult to retain the heat and gain warmth.Answered by:

I went with Hestras after using Burton's traditional gore-tex mittens. I wanted mittens that were more form-fitting and less bulky with a focus on warmth and waterproofing. I have always preferred mittens over gloves because they tend to keep my hands warmer. With mittens generally all fingers are touching so it tends to seal in more overall warmth. I didn't actually take into account the five finger lining but I was super pleased when I tried them on. Basically the interior material holds each five fingers like a glove would.Answered by:

I very much enjoyed working with Leo on my ski purchase. I had done some research on my own but had not settled on a particular ski. I was very nervous about buying my first pair of skis as they can be quite expensive and you want to get them right, however, as soon as I found curated and was paired with Hayden all the nervousness turned into pure excitement.
