The Curated Take
I purchased this ski for on piste carving during icy and hardpack days that happen in early/late season out west and most days on the east coast. For this job, it excels like no other. I was inspired to get low and really put weight the skis for deep carves. The skis are heavy and stiff- they want to go fast and hard. They can ski at slower speeds but where they shine is on the top end.
I have skied them on some 1-2" powder days and they do just fine charging through mixed snow conditions. However, these are not powder skis and are built for when the snow isn't flying.
- Stability at speed is unmatched
- Carving longer turns is where this ski shines
- Great pop out of turns with a stiff metal construction
- This ski does not perform best at slower speeds. It wants to go fast.
- Not designed for off piste skiing as it is narrow underfoot with minimal rocker
The Blizzard Brahma 82 Skis are the perfect choice for skiers who want a versatile ski that can handle any terrain. With a strong and easygoing character, these skis are designed to give you confidence on hard or soft snow. The Flipcore design and Trueblend woodcore provide stability and control, so you can rip or cruise wherever your skis take you.
