This knife has been the workhorse of my collection for over 10 years. The beautiful design of the Damascus patterned steel with the birchwood handle makes for a showpiece knife that will still get the job done.   • Blade hold sharpness through heavy chopping
  • Handle end cap is great for mashing garlic, ginger, spices
  • Balanced weight has a solid feeling in the hand, shape lends to natural chopping motions
Not ideal for
  • Handle care, birchwood can erode over time if not properly cared for
  • Blade chipping on harder bones (beef, pork)
  • Thicker blade not as great for mincing fine herbs, but still handles well
