A long, comfy fit, high-end features, and a laid-back style make the Lucy Jacket a fast favorite.
DETAILS
- Slide on the Lucy Jacket and you won't want to take it off: It's that comfortable. Ready for a day in the backcountry or spinning the lifts at the resort, this jacket has the stretchy, buttery feel of softshell and the stormproof properties of a tough hardshell, a fabric known as Tactic 3L. Better yet, it has technical features and high-performance qualities, but it doesn't look overly techybecause you don't always want your kit to scream I just climbed a mountain! (Even if you just did.)

The Lucy jacket is a good option for anyone looking for a resort or backcountry jacket. It is a shell that still offers some stretch for mobility, without sacrificing being waterproof. It has a powder skirt that keeps out snow and large armpit vents to help cool down. I have used the Lucy jacket for the last 3 winters, and... Read more

I've had this jacket for about four years, but I'll preface it by saying it's one of my many jackets—it doesn't quite meet every need for me. To start, it insulates very well, and I love how I can take this jacket out in any cold temperature and I know I'll be warm. There's also a lot of convenient zippers... Read more

The Flylow Lucy Jacket is a great choice for backcountry or touring but might not be the warmest for slopeside skiing. There are a good amount of pockets to stash snacks and passes, but the material does not seem the most durable. However, where the fabric might lack durability, it makes up for breathability and comfort. Very easy to move... Read more

Great jsckrt
Originally posted at flylowgear.com on Dec 6, 2024My daughter loves Flylow gear. She rode with the Snowbird Freeride Team a few years ago before college so she appreciated the tough fabrics and quality construction of her Flylow gear. I just bought the Lucy jacket as a Christmas present. It is a surprise. I know she will be excited to ski on the Flylow gear this winter.

The Lucy Jacket
Originally posted at flylowgear.com on Nov 9, 2024The Lucy Jacket is as comfortable as it gets. Perfect for both backcountry and resort days, it combines the stretchy feel of a softshell with the stormproof durability of a hardshell, thanks to the recycled Tactic 3L fabric. It’s packed with high-performance features without looking overly technical—a subtle but powerful piece for any adventure.

Kat was so helpful!
5 /5
Kat was so patient with all my questions and truly helped me figure out what gear would work best for me! She recommended me a good couple of boards and went into detail on each one and what the different features were and how they’d benefit me. As someone who buys for looks and pretty colors, I’m glad I had help to be confident in my purchase for my ride style and experience level!

Noah was Great!
5 /5
I was unsure what ski gear to buy, but Noah settled all my worries. He was extremely knowledgeable and sent me a video explaining everything which gave the whole experience a more personal feel. I am very happy I matched with Noah because he was able to find the best skis for me and answered all my other questions!!

Super Knowledgeable and Accessible
5 /5
As someone buying skis for the first time, but having skied for a few years Leo was incredibly helpful! He took into account what I prioritized but also explained why a suggestion might be out of my initial request. For example, he got ahead of my question on why bindings are expensive and why it is important to not only focus on the skis but the bindings as well.

Frankie really dialed in the board for me
5 /5
He has extensive knowledge, and was really able to find the perfect setup for me and my riding style as well as my bank account. Also was honest and kept me from making a purchase that I might regret. We talked for at least an hour and the whole time he was very helpful. All in all he really knows his stuff when it comes to getting you into the perfect set up. I highly recommend him. Thanks again Frankie.

Tyler was awesome!
5 /5
I’ve been using a board from 2005 for the last 4 or so years now. Finally decided it was time to upgrade but had no idea of what to upgrade to. He asked what I was looking for, and ended up narrowing it down to exactly what I need/want, to further my skills. He’s very knowledgeable and approachable, and overall very friendly. Was nice talking to Tyler and I’m super stoked to get up on the mountain.
