A trusted favorite among pro skiers, the performance Ridge shell jacket has been upgraded with our LIFA INFINITY™ engineering. LIFA INFINITY™ set the new industry standard for responsible waterproof/breathable jacket technology. The ridge features a hydrophobic waterproof/breathable membrane, and an extremely waterproof/breathable 3-layer HELLY TECH® PROFESSIONAL construction. The exterior fabric is made with 50% recycled content and PFC-free, DWR treatment. Whether you’re freeriding, back-country touring or resort skiing, the Ridge performs during long days of intense activity. It can be worn with a warm layers on colder days, or as a standalone for spring skiing. When the pro skiers wear our jackets and give feedback, we listen. We also improved our design with horizontal, pack-friendly pockets. As before, the Ridge has all the ski details you need: a Life Pocket™ to preserve phone battery in cold, a RECCO® transponder, a helmet-compatible hood, a 2-way front zipper, a ski pass pocket and a snap-away powder skirt.

Great Jacket
Originally posted at www.hellyhansen.com on Mar 13, 2025I love the Ridge Infinity shell. It’s a great jacket that seems like it is well made and will hold up. I’m 5’ 10” 185lbs and a medium is a little tight with any significant layers under but the Large which I originally bought was a little big.

Amazing Ski Jacket

Love the half hand liner at the cuff; ski pass pocket on the sleeve; horizontal pockets at the front; chest pocket for the phone; internal mesh pocket + others. My favorite details is the hood that when zipped, comfortably covers the helmet and only leaves my goggles exposed. I’ve worn it comfortably down to -10F with only a base layer and vest. Style is 10/10. Love the larger, roomy fit. Quality is 10/10. Shell feels very durable. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Tyler made great recommendations and really took the time to understand where my skill level is at and where I intend to ski. Ultimately, I was uncomfortable making the investment without trying the skis first, so I ended up buying a pair that I had rented several times and really liked.
