When I was looking to upgrade my snowboarding jacket, there was a list of features that I was specifically looking for: waterproofed to the max, a pass pocket on the sleeve for easy scanning, a helmet-compatible hood, vents to dump extra heat, and a sleek look. I'm happy to say that this jacket met all of those requirements and then some. This jacket's waterproofing is superb, and the quality and fit of the jacket are second to none. Because of this jacket, I will likely buy more gear from Volcolm when I need to upgrade other pieces.
Ideal for
- GoreTex and taped seams means water won't be getting through.
- Vent Zippers in the under arms lets me dump extra heat when I'm working hard.
- Plenty of pocket space throughout the jacket to keep things handy on the hill.
Not ideal for
- Not insulated, which isn't necessarily a con, but probably not the best for super cold resort days.

I’m brand new to snowboarding (but have done other board sports🏄🏻♀️🛹) and know nothing about snowboarding! I’m so thankful for Alex because he was able to find me the perfect board, bindings and boots - all within my budget! He also was able to answer all my questions and get back to me fast! On top of which he checked on me after I received my products to ensure everything fit right and was to my liking which I really appreciate! 😊 Lastly he reminded me of my credits that I had from my first purchase and recommend multiple options for things I can spend it on that are easily forgotten about when your new to snowboarding (even though they’re kinda important - such as gloves, goggles, travel case, etc). Definitely will be recommending Alex to all my friends who are interested in getting into snowboarding and for other friends who are planning on changing snowboards but not sure what is best for them! And for sure will be a returning client - when it’s time to change my gear! 😊🏂

I just recently started snowboarding and finally committed to getting my own gears instead of renting. Nick was above and beyond every step of the way! He was able to provide the best recommendations in terms of both quality and skill level while being conscious of my budget. I ran into a bit of a hiccup when I tried price matching with curated and missed out on a deal unfortunately. However, Nick was ever persistent and did everything in his power to get me some store credits which eventually helped me get an even better deal than the one I tried to price-match originally! I know nothing about snowboards and my son asked for a board for Christmas. We have been through a lot this year personally and just trying to make the holidays a bit more special for our son. The help I received from Vince was Incredible. He helped me put a board together that my son has been talking about. Well, it will surely be a surprise for him! Vince's knowledge was so helpful.
