This product is great for wet (rainy/snowy) conditions, and also does a great job of blocking the wind. Both the body and the sleeves on this jacket are roomy, allowing for plenty of room to layer, even a thick down midlayer. The jacket has tons of pockets both inside and out.
Ideal for
- Rainy/snowy days
- Layering - plenty of room for base and midlayers
- Backcountry with Recco technology
Not ideal for
- Not necessarily a con, but the fit is baggy/oversized
- The main side pockets are a bit difficult to access as they are farther back than other jackets I have used
- The main zipper is a bit hard to use

Favorite jacket!
Originally posted at www.dakine.com on Feb 21, 2023 Love the jacket: looks cool, pockets are practical, doesn’t let wind thru, breathable & keeps you absolutely dry in the snow! I bought size M. My height is 5.9”, 130 lbs. Fit of jacket leaves room for base layers below.
