The STEELPORT Carbon Steel Chef Knife is ideal for a home chef wanting attention to detail and reliability. STEELPORT uses a proprietary "differential heat treatment" with American 52100 Carbon Steel making the spine soft at 30HRC and the blade hard at 65HRC. Because the blade is so highly polished the high carbon steel will be less prone to rusting but still develop a certain type of patina depending on the types of food being prepped.
- Resin Stabilized Wood Handle – The handle is made out of locally sourced Oregon Big Leaf Maple Burl and resin making it very durable.
