The Leki Makalu Lite Cor-Tec Trekking Poles are heavy duty, extendable poles made for long trekkers, day hikers, and backpackers.
Key Features:
- Dimensions – The poles weigh 8.6 oz each and extend to a maximum length of 54 inches (135 cm) or minimum length of 40 inches (100 cm) which makes them highly adjustable. The collapsed minimum storage length is 27 inches.
- Durable Materials – The Makalu is made with thick 7075 series aluminum shafts and cork-rubber ergonomic grips.
- Strong Lever Locks – Leki designed these poles to be ultra-durable and the three-section locks are no exception; they are strong and won't give out under heavy abuse.
- Carbide Tips – This tip material is known to provide grip on all terrain including dirt, rocks, and ice.
