The Curated Take
The Volkl V-Cell V1 MP is a very versatile racquet that suits players from beginner all the way to advanced tournament players. It offers an outstanding combination of controllable power and fast moving maneuverability in an arm friendly package. With a larger, more forgiving head size than others in its class it allows players to continue using this frame all along their tennis journey. As with many Volkl racquets, it's easy to pick up and play without any adjustment time and has great feel. Advanced players who frequently face hard hitting opponents may wish for more stability, but it can easily handle all the way up to 4.0 play without concern.
- Arm friendly
- Large, forgiving sweet spot
- Versatile for a wide variety of playing styles and abilities
- Advanced players may find stability lacking against hard hitting opponents
The V-Cell V1 MP is an enigma (def - a person or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand) in that it is mysterious, how does it feel so comfortable? It is puzzling in that no other racquet has been able to give the combination of arm protection and playability and it is difficult to understand just how well the V-Cell V1 MP plays in the hands of an experienced player, yet still gives great performance to lower level players. It is a truly unique performance machine.
The V-Cell V1 MP also features REVA, MORE V-Cell Material, VTEX butt cap, Super Grommets and V-Sensor Handle for great feel. It weighs 285g / 10.1oz, has a 660cm2 / 102in2 head, 25-22-28mm Vario beam with a 68.5cm / 27in length and a 32.5cm / 0.7in head light balance. It has a 16x19 string pattern.
The V-Cell V1 MP continues the tradition of the V1 family being the most arm-friendly racquets available. Perhaps no other racquet gives this level of overall performance
