The Edel EAS 5 is one of my favorite putters. As a competitive player, making confident strokes on short putts is a must for scoring. Before using this putter, I found myself second guessing where I was aimed, and as a result, guiding and missing short putts. With this putter, I know I’m lined up where I want to be and can make much more confident strokes. The scores have shown that. I have found that not only has my alignment improved, but lag putting has improved as well. This is because of how forgiving and great feeling this putter is. The feel of the face provides amazing feedback making speed control very easy. The forgiveness of the putter makes off center struck putts roll just as well as center struck putts, which makes those longer putts much easier. The round grip took some getting used to initially, but I love it now. It can be ordered with a flat front grip instead. I took a lot of time researching before I purchased this putter, and even rolled some putts on a monitor to get extra data. The high level of personalization is great but does require some extra research to ensure the right set up is put together. Overall, I love this putter and have received quite a few compliments on my putting ability since putting it in the bag.
