The EK43 offers an even grind from very fine (nearly espresso) up to very coarse for cold brew without overheating. This grinder is ideal for shops and restaurants that serve a lot of filter coffee or small to medium-sized roasteries offering pre-ground coffee. You can grind 3 lbs of coffee in about a minute. The EK43 is high quality and fast. It features step-less grind adjustment for precision.
In my experience, it's not the quietest model, and the static build-up can be a bit messy. I love that the motor stays cool, thus protecting the integrity of your coffee.
The flat Burrs provide consistent and even grind particles for the best extraction.
Overall, this is a great grinder for new cafés or if you're looking to level up your filter coffee. We have been using it in our roastery for 3 years, and it's still going strong, grinding between 50 and 100lbs of coffee a week.
