A ski that is meant for touring and getting uphill quickly, and lightly. A large mix of materials come together in this ski to create something that people keep coming back to get more of. The aerospace foam used in this ski will help keep you comfortable and confident with any BC conditions that you run into! The combo of Paulownia and Ash for the core works well with the carbon in the ski to provide a great and dialed-in feel in every turn that you make.

If sub 100mm widths don't offer enough flotation, but you also don't want to burn out your legs on the ascent, there aren't a lot of better options out there than the 100 Pagoda Tour. With an aggressive powder shape for the way down and lightweight on the way up, this is a ski that many have been waiting for DPS to produce. It is not the floatiest touring ski out there and it's also not the skinniest, but it does provide a perfect balance of being a one-ski quiver-killer for alpine tourers who want to enjoy the fresh stuff after all their hard work. Not the best ski for 12-hour multi day tours, and not the best ski for taking up to Alaska, but it can and will do both serviceably. If you're trying to keep things light, but still want to float on the way down, this is your stick!

DPS did something pretty special with their Pagoda Tours. With its 15m radius and rocker profile (short effective edge), these are some quick skis that love trees, powder, and jumping into that coulier. At only 1500 grams per ski, you'd think these would be noodly but not so: the carbon laminate of the ski combined with the quality construction keep the skis torsionally rigid and responsive even on harder snow conditions.

These skis are going to have a shorter turn radius than the other two skis I've recommended, so you're going to be able to handle tight trees more easily -- and who doesn't love that? It's great if you're getting into backcountry touring at all (or even just uphill at the resort) but it's still going to feel like a traditional downhill ski on the descent.
