These are the most budget-friendly bindings in the Union line and also the lightest in Union's lineup. I've had a chance to ride them last spring. According to the manufacturer, they might even be the lightest in the entire industry. The highback resembles Flite but is stiffer. Interestingly, it has a Y-shaped fork, resembling carbon in terms of stiffness. The base of the bindings has been completely changed; it's now flat, without an incline, and it doesn't have a mini-disc. The only thing that remains unchanged is the adjustment of the strap lengths, which needs to be done at home. These bindings are suitable for beginners as well as for freestyle. Despite the stiffness of 4 claimed by the manufacturer, they can feel different depending on the person's weight. For someone weighing 100 kg, they might seem soft, while for someone at 60 kg, they might feel medium in stiffness. I rode these bindings all of last season and mounted them on different boards. They are more than sufficient for non-aggressive riding, and I didn't feel a lack of stiffness in various conditions. I recommend these bindings for those who are choosing their first set. Even if you feel that you have outgrown them, don't rush to get rid of them - they might come in handy for a soft board or freestyle. They are well-suited for freestyle, jibbing, and not just for park riding but also on slopes.
