I took both DynaPower drivers out for a test on the course. Was thrilled at the results. For me the Carbon is the clear winner.
Lets talk Titanium first. The feel of the face is great. A bit of muted sound which I prefer and a lot of explosiveness if you hit the center. This driver is a neutral-draw biased and i saw the effects of this first hand. it was almost impossible for me to hit this driver right. This driver will be a great fit for anyone looking for maximum forgiveness at a less than premium price.
Carbon: This driver player like a dream. I love the lower spin and launch aspects of it. I felt like I had more control of the ball and hit a ton of fairways. It felt effortless to put this driver in the short grass. I wasn't fighting against it one bit. Fit my game and swing nicely.
My only negative is that it does not look like a premium driver. I know Wilson has had a bad rap lately and it is hard to trust the name on the club. however, the performance is every bit as good. And the Price is a huge tick in the win column.
- Great for working the ball
- Softer feel off the face
- Ability to control trajectory
- Not ideal for golfers who slice or need spin
