The boards, light, strong and rails around groomers and even ice thanks to the Magnetraction!
I’m a big ape myself, not huge but coming in around 6 foot four, 215 Lbs with a size 12 claw…
I love the upgrades and technology and design for this model and will continue to ride LIB TECH SKUNK APE boards for the Long Haul!!

I grew up skate boarding in the 80s on the west coast and The Skunk Ape II reminds me of my old Santa Cruz board of my youth, with the neon rails and slime ball wheels n all. This is my first brand new snowboard and this board doesn’t disappoint. It took a couple of days on the mountain to get used to the sensitivity and coordination of the board. But once you do….oh boy. It is like a dream. A straight arrow on the groomers, then on steep terrain it clings to mountains and stops turns ice i to powder, causing less injuries. Best part is that I will never get stuck powder ever again! Riding switch takes a little finessing but once you figure out the geometry of the board to your advantage, it becomes second nature. I took this board from Tahoe to Colorado and then switch down a half pipe, this season. Resorts beware of this beast of board comes up their lifts. This board roars all over the mountain like King Kong!

I was skeptical of the idea at first but Sarah's choices for me were boards that I would have picked off of the shelf for myself. She provided all the info I asked for but didn't push in any particular direction or push to make a sale quickly. Over the last decade the shops in my area have stopped carrying a lot of variety opting for one brand of board in many styles leaving me with no choice but to turn to the internet. Having an expert narrow the thousands of options down to just a few made the experience one that I will highly recommend in the future. First snow should be falling in a few days. I couldn't be more stoked.
