Who would love these

The Lib Tech Cold Brew is an epic all-mountain board for intermediate to advanced riders who want one board to rip the entire resort. It is not ideal for beginners or newer riders who are still learning to link turns.

Why I recommend these

All-mountain freeride board
Magne-traction serrated edges
Handmade in the US
Hybrid rocker/camber profile

Expert verdict

The Lib Tech Cold Brew is an epic board for intermediate to advanced riders who love to explore every corner of the mountain. Its directional twin shape and wide, floaty nose make it a dream in powder and plow through uneven and choppy snow to reduce fatigue. The Magne-Traction edges provide incredible edge hold no matter the conditions and are so much fun when carving groomed trails. The directional twin shape excels in powder, through trees, and when slicing and dicing up groomers but is not ideal for park or freestyle. The Cold Brew can take the occasional park lap but is not where it excels. It is not great for beginners or newer riders who are still learning the basics. Designed for intermediate and up! Lib Tech is one of my favorite brands, and I have been riding their boards for over 20 years.

Geoff R tested this product
I took this board on a chilly, uncrowded powder day in the late afternoon at Stevens Pass, WA. It allowed me to put it through its paces in the conditions it was designed for, as well as push the limits of the board's design. Lib Tech's marketing is not only clever and funny but also honest about the board's design... Read more

The Lib Tech Cold Brew has been an incredible companion on the slopes, offering versatility and performance across various terrains and conditions. Its C2 camber profile strikes the perfect balance between edge hold, pop, and float, allowing me to carve on groomers, hit jumps in the park, and ride through mellow amounts of powder. The Magne-Traction edges provide superb grip... Read more

I own Cold Brew and it's a solid all-rounder. Floats like a dream in powder, just cruising over the fluffy stuff. The board's tough as nails too - it can take a beating and still look good. It's steady and reliable when you pick up speed, gives you that confidence to push a bit harder. Carving's okay, not the sharpest,... Read more

47 year old male, 30 yrs riding, expert level. Been riding Jamie Lynn models most of my life. Switched to the Cold Brew last week after a fresh dump as I needed something a bit more flexible and easier on my body at this point in my life that still provided enough responsiveness, speed etc. As soon as I started I could feel the stickiness of the board to the mountain. The magnatraction, rocker and multiple points of contact felt like I was really stuck to the snow which took some getting used to after 30 years with stiff ultra fast boards. It felt like there were training wheels on it or a parking brake was pulled but once you trust the grip and went with it, the board would respond well enough. It took much less power to transition turns, slash and carve but the results were definitely below what I can do on a more advanced board. I am not really that sore this week whereas last month I was dying after riding the new Lynn for 4 days (I will leave a review of the Lynn as well). It definitely feels slower than a more advanced model. That being said, this is exactly what I was looking for and it did exactly that.

Started with the Cold Brew, now onto T. Rice Pro

The Cold brew was the first good snowboard that I got. It was so nice to learn on that I passed it on to my younger brother for him to start learning after I purchased the T. Rice Pro; he is in love. Going to get the new model of the Cold Brew for him next season. Great beginner board.

Erik was great!
5 /5
Erik was very helpful in assisting me to pick out my first pair of skis and ski bindings! I am an intermediate-level skier but have always used rental skis, so when looking to buy my own, I didn't have much of a knowledge-base. Erik was very helpful in answering my questions and with narrowing down which skis would be a good fit for me, taking into consideration my height/weight, skill level, skiing strengths and weaknesses, and price range. Thank you very much, Erik!

This was my first time buying snow sport gear of any kind. Tyler used the information I gave him to give me some really great choices and get me all set up with a board, bindings, and a helmet. He was very responsive to my questions and had recommendations for sizes and settings that I would not have been able to figure out on my own. He was great!

Tyler was super helpful!

Tyler made great recommendations and really took the time to understand where my skill level is at and where I intend to ski. Ultimately, I was uncomfortable making the investment without trying the skis first, so I ended up buying a pair that I had rented several times and really liked. I had so many questions and came very close to purchasing skis a few months ago but now I that I have nearly finished this season I have a better idea of what I was looking for!

Nico helped me decide what length Atomic Mavens to get and bindings. He helped me decide that these skis will work on East Coast ice and Jackson Hole powder. I wish Curated was sticking around because it's such a great service. My cousin bought skis bindings and boots last year with curated and is stoked.

Tyler helped to reassure me on the board I have been eying, while also suggesting the best options for boots and bindings; he never tried to push the most expensive option, but rather gave me a number of choices to consider for myself (and in fact, recommended a cheaper boot option than the one I went with!). He was a great help and I feel confident that he helped me make a solid purchase.

I was looking at updating my board and was just looking around. After a quick chat with John to narrow down which board to pick, he made it easier than going into a store. He helped out with an additional discount that no other website could beat. Too hard to pass up a great deal, I bought the board and bindings. Cheers to debuting it before the season ends!

She knew exactly what I was looking for...
5 /5
I already knew what skis I was trying to find, based on the conditions I wanted to ski and also based on my skill level. Not only did she recommend the exact skis that I had been looking for, but she also recommended a better set of bindings than the ones I had previously thought were a good fit. I love that she's a neighbor over in VT while I'm in NH, so she knows East Coast (Ice Coast) skiing like I do. I'm so excited for the deal I just landed on brand new 2025 skis, and I have Shannon to thank for helping me narrow down the perfect fit. I'm just so sad to hear this amazing company is closing its doors, but while the deals are good and before they go, I will be recommending them to everyone I know! Thanks again, Shannon! Happy skiing!

Noah helped me tremendously. I kind of knew what I wanted but by asking the right questions, he helped point me in the best direction for my changing skill level and age and kind of terrain I'd be skiing more since moving to a different state. He took everything into account. He gave me choices for each item I wanted---skis, bindings, poles---and put together a perfect curation! I'm super stoked to be able to take advantage of the discounts of course, but I never would've been able to do that or even find such great equipment without Noah's help!
