The Dynamo is a great freestyle and big mountain board that I think could be used in all-mountain riding. the best board i have ever used for my style
Originally posted at www.lib-tech.com on Dec 25, 2024I really appreciate how damp this board is; you just set that edge and it tracks through anything. Still early season so I haven't taken it on bigger stuff, but I have no doubt this board is built to charge. It is on the (slightly) stiff side but has a sidecut that allows for relatively short turns as well; easy to foot steer at slow speeds and ride trees in. Rides switch well. Really confidence inspiring and supportive tail on landings. Seems to prefer a little speed to get lively but nothing crazy. It is just stiff and aggressive enough to where it is well suited for an advanced, well rounded freerider with a freestyle penchant. I feel this board is too stiff and aggressive for intermediate riders unless they are athletic, focused and want THIS to be the board that will take them to the next level. Thank you LibTech!!

Magne traction is awesome
Posted on Dec 21, 2024I bought this board after spending at least ten years on my previous board which was a nitro. The nitro was great, but after a few turns in the dynamo, I realized I was working a lot harder than I had to. I spend most of my time riding on hard pack man made snow, and the magne traction made a world of difference. I don't think I experienced any chatter, and I could feel a nice progressive group on the snow as I applied pressure to my edges. The c3 camber was also a revelation. Getting in and out of turns felt smooth but energetic, with lots of pop of I wanted it.
I am rocking a 156. I'm wearing size 7 boots and weigh about 160. I'm using burton cartel bindings, but finding they aren't a great combination with this board. I can't get my feet perfectly center on the board because of the combination. I would recommend bindings with an adjustable heal cup if you have the same size setup as I do.

I have been conversing with Ken for over a year he would curate me a set up and I’d just ghost him.
