The Gnu Hyper performs in all areas of the mountain. Its shape leads to amazing float in powder, and its C2 profile and flex make it an all mountain ripper. This board cuts thru powder, carves amazingly, and even leads to enjoyable park laps. This board really can handle it all.

I'm coming from cambered boards and don't even notice the rocker between the feet except for when it gives some added float in pow. This board feels directional until you land switch and forget you're not riding a true twin. Carves about as hard any full cambered board I've ever ridden. Pop is solid when you load up with your back foot. Probably the closest thing to a quiver killer I've ever ridden. It was a bit stiffer than I expected and I'm not mad about it. I'm 5'7" 150 lbs and the 157 is spot on for me - but I prefer longer boards and am more freeride than freestyle. I'll be facing a dilemma every time it snows having to decide to take out the Hyper or my pow board!
