Horrible Timing

However, the only complaint is that they shipped it too fast. My order arrived in less than a week so now I have to stare at my new setup for the next 5 months, longing and yearning for fresh powder. Overall terrible experience, I would only recommend RIDE if you enjoy an extremely fast and communicative shipping process.

Great ride but also agree the topsheet can get dinged easily.
Originally posted at ridesnowboards.com on Apr 12, 2024Been riding this board all 2023/24 season as my daily driver. Probably got in around 12-15 days on it. It is a pleasure to ride, I'm more of a intermediate carver but don't do a lot of freestyle/park riding. It is responsive, fun, holds its edges, and had improved my riding and overall experience. I did however notice the black top sheet with white underlayer is easy to damage and has some noticeable edge wear. I'm not sure if companies offer touch up paint or anything like that but I actually repainted part of the nose where I had a major scratch with flat black Estes brand model paint and it matched and blended in fairly well. I used a foam brush with 2 coats and I went over it lightly with 000 steel wool after to kind of blend where I painted with the factory finish.
I love the board but my concern will be its ongoing durability, especially where the top sheet meets the side walls.

Mad respect for Chris who went the extra mile to find me the perfect fit. Every recommendation was followed up with a thorough comparison of all my options and what made them stand out from each other. He even recorded videos, dude. Really, what more could you ask for. And still he’s not the type to try to convince you that somethings great. He just offers up all the facts to let you sit back and feel things out for yourself. Super friendly, reassuring, and will never leave you hanging. I came back to Chris for new recommendations after ghosting him for an entire season and it felt like picking up where you left off with an old friend. Super knowledgeable about the sport and how certain brands will cater to your riding style. Really appreciated that he didn’t recommend the same style of board over and over from different brands. Since he tossed up boards that had a lot of differing features he helped me find something I hadn’t considered before and taught me so much about snowboarding along the way. So if you’re looking for something that will set you apart from the rest, Chris has your back. I ended up going with his top choice for me and I couldn’t be more jacked. Will definitely be coming back for advice down the line, and can’t wait to let him know how much his pick shreds this winter. Cheers mate!
