CAPiTA The Equalizer Snowboard · Women's · 2024 · 150 cm
$549.95
For the inspired rider looking to unlock all possible terrain.
Inspired by Jess Kimura's progression from the streets to the backcountry, The Equalizer was born to level the playing field on the mountain and offer riders a high-end all-mountain option designed specifically for women.
The series now features an updated custom-designed hybrid camber profile, providing positive camber through the length of the board for carving control, while reverse camber in the nose and tail maximizes float in powder.
The Equalizer's ride and response have been upgraded by implementing the all-new META Core™ to achieve a desirable flex for all-mountain terrain, while Technora™ + Flax Boosters have been retained in the construction to provide longitudinal power. Also featuring a Quantum Drive™ high-speed sintered base, The Equalizer is one of the most technically advanced women's freeride boards on the market

- The Equalizer is best for hard charging ladies looking for an extremely responsive ride.
- This board excels at higher speeds with best of both worlds in camber and rocker, Capita's Resort V2 Directional profile.
- Great for riders looking for a directional shape to get more into freeriding and value lightweight performance.
- This board loves speed so I wouldn't recommend to a beginner.
- This is not a park focused board so isn't the best choice for overall forgiveness and progressing switch riding skills.
- Freeriding the groomers
- Backcountry powder days
- Advanced rider progression and play
- Top sheet chips on the edges a little too easily in the lift lines
- This board is extremely light and nimble so be aware not to run over large objects that could compromise its integrity
