Why I recommend these
Expert verdict
The Jones Mountain Twin Snowboard is a dream for those who love to explore every inch of the mountain. It's like having a skateboard for the snow, offering a playful yet stable ride. The Traction Tech edges are a game-changer, providing grip on icy patches, while the 3D Contour Base makes turning feel like a breeze. It's perfect for intermediate riders who want a board that can handle powder, park, and everything in between. The only thing to consider is its mid-stiff flex, which might be a bit much for beginners. But if you're ready to push your limits, this board is your ticket to endless fun.

The Mountain Twin is a versatile directional twin designed for playful shredders who want one board that can ride- it-all. It’s built to shred the whole mountain like it’s an endless skatepark without sacrificing float in pow or stability for bombing lines. The Twin’s shape features blunt tips for reduced swing weight, Traction Tech edges that keep you locked in on firm snow, and a 3D Contour Base that makes every turn more effortless. With a mid-stiff twin flex and a CamRock profile, the Mountain Twin excels at poppin’ pillows and pressin’ boxes while it’s also an easy board to turn and finesse in tight terrain. To complete the performance package, the Mountain Twin has a super fast and durable Sintered 8000 base and added stance options with the Freestyle/Freeride Stance pack.

- Shredding the whole mountain, side country, groomers, and park.
- Great for riding switch and doing switch tricks.
- An awesome carver, snappy and quick into and out of the turns.
- The board can get a little jittery at speeds past 45 mph.
- This thing is very snappy and is easy to catch an edge on if jumping it into and out of turns.
- Great at carving
- Extremely versatile
- Edges don't catch easily
- A little bit on the stiffer side, might not be great for a true beginner
- For the rider who wants a do it all board from park to powder.
- For the rider who values edge hold and versatility.
- Does extremely well in the park for a all mountain board.
- Not the softest board on the market.
- Can feel aggressive for beginner riders.
- Directional twin shape so not quite a full twin but would have no problems riding switch.
